I got home late last night all tired and cranky - when I looked in my mail, I just beamed. Helen sent me a card and a wonderful three page letter. It's amazing how snail mail can brighten your day.

I shall resolve to do it myself more often. Thanks, sweetie! [girlkissers]

Oh, and Happy 4th, everyone! Busy, busy weekend. But three day weekend! Yay!

Oh yay! I'd forgotten about that. As the dates say, I wrote it over the span of a few days, starting with the day I left the board. I was in a writing mood, so churned out a lot quite quickly, curled up on the couch with the light off but the reading lamp on- nice moody lighting ;-)

Took me a few days to post though, due to me not going near a Post Office and then moving a few hundred miles.

But yay, you got it! Post is good. I thought that as you'd included a letter in your Christmas card, I'd choose you to be my letter victim-I-mean-recipient ;-)

Italy tomorrow! You shall get a postcard girl.

Helen

Good luck with you slave labor weekend. I'm sure it will be a blast! (No pun intended if something explodes! LOL)
