I spent an insane amount of time last night voting for Blake. I want to see him and Melinda in the finale together. Melinda and Jordin are too similar in singing styles to have just them left. The finale wouldn't be as enjoyable if Blake weren't there, in my opinion.

You actually voted?!? I love AI but I have never voted. The only time I considered it as for Chris Daughtry, but he has done fine w/o winning the AI title. Stupid Taylor Hicks. Go Blake!
No Melinda. I was pretty shocked. I wanted Blake to do well, but I never really expected him to get into the finals.
You know what I think happened? I think the Blake fans and the Jordin fans got into a battle to make sure their idol went to the finals with Melinda, and Melinda fans got complacent and so she got voted out.
Amanda, I think you're right. Either way, I'm sure Melinda will do well. That voice is phenomenal.
