I'm taking a Plumbing for Home Owners class through the local community college. It's a three week class, and it started this evening. We learned about all the different kinds of pipes, and learned how to solder. I even got to keep my pipe.

I am jealous. I love being able to fix stuff by myself. I may have to look into their other classes.
Oooo, I'd love to be able to do that stuff. That and car mechanics, so I would never be fooled by unscrupulous garage staff EVER AGAIN. Go you!
